Terms of Service
Effective date: 28 July 2026 · Version: beta-2026-07-28
Ceqio is a free online card game currently offered as a beta. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Because Ceqio is in beta, the service is provided as-is and may change, break, or be unavailable while we test and improve it.
Your account
- You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your country (at least 13, or the minimum age required where you live).
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Only one active session per account is permitted at a time.
Fair play and conduct
- Play fairly. Do not cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, or manipulate ratings, matches, or tournaments.
- Be respectful to other players. Harassment, abuse, and disruptive behavior are not allowed.
- Some opponents are computer players rather than people. They are labelled on the leaderboard and take part in rated games by design.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or its players.
Beta status: ratings and data
Beta is a testing period, and we change the game while it runs. In particular:
- Ratings are provisional and will be reset. We expect to reset all ratings at least once, when the beta opens to the public, because the rating model and the computer opponents changed during testing. Your match history is not deleted by a reset.
- Features, modes, and scoring may change or be withdrawn without notice.
- We aim to keep your data, but during beta we cannot guarantee against data loss.
Intellectual property
Ceqio, including its name, artwork, and software, is owned by the Ceqio project. © 2026 Ceqio. All rights reserved. Ceqio uses open-source and openly licensed components; see the open-source licenses page for attributions.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Ceqio project is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Termination
You may stop using Ceqio and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, especially during beta.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Ceqio develops; material changes will update the version above. Questions or concerns? Reach us on Discord or by email at ceqiocompany@gmail.com.
